Charging the device

The device can be pre charged via the supplied mains A/C charger or by the built in wind generator.

1.To activate the fan and to attain enough power to charge HYmini, a wind speed of at least 9 mph is required. When the device is charged by wind power, a green light adjacent to the fan will turn on to indicate that the internal battery of the device is charging.
2.The higher the wind speed, the more power will be generated and stored in the internal battery. Please note that a consistent voltage, preferably higher voltage, is required for an efficient charge-in rate. Wind speed of 15 mph and above (40 mph max) with an extended period of exposure is ideal for efficient charging.
3.The HYmini‘s turbine is designed to be impact-safe and removable.

This laptop charging solution uses a very powerful yet lightweight, foldable 30W P3 panel to charge the Powerpack 135 providing 12V DC and 240VAC power up to 300W. The 30W P3 is a rugged military-style charger that´s small enough to fit in a rucksack, but opens up into a powerful portable solar panel for 12V battery charging. The Powerpack 135 provides up to 300 watts of silent household (AC) and DC power anytime, anywhere. A convenient source of power for year–round use – power camcorders, video games, stereos, computers, laptops and small power tools. Also ideal for expeditions, emergency situations and jump-starting a vehicle. The solar panel may also be used on its own for charging electronic devices and 12V batteries.
